Nikita Storozhenko is a former detective. He resigned after the presidential elections of Belarus in 2020 in protest against the current government. After his dismissal, Nikita worked as a lawyer.
He was detained on April 23, 2021 for "unauthorized picketing", convicted and sentenced to 15 days in prison according to Article part 1 of Article 24.23 of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offenses. He was released on May 8, 2021.
On May 4, 2021, Storozhenko, like other law enforcement officials who resigned in protest, was deprived of the rank of senior lieutenant of justice reserve by Lukashenka.
Nikita was detained again on February 1, 2022 in a shopping center in Minsk. In a video posted on the telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he says that he transferred the contacts of two employees of the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption and the deputy head of the Investigative Committee for Minsk to one of the "protest telegram channels".
The trial took place on November 15, 2022 in the Minsk City Court. Nikita was tried for "inciting other social enmity and discord" under Part 3 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, as well as for "illegal collection and dissemination of information about private life" (Part 1 of Article 179 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus).
On December 2, 2022, he was sentenced to seven years in a high-security penal colony. he is also obliged to pay a fine of 5 000 BYN (2 056 USD) as moral compensation to employees, whose data, according to the prosecution, he transmitted to the "protest telegram channel".

Oleg, the owner of the YouTube channel "Third Region Belarus," was detained in January 2022 when he returned to Belarus for the New Year holidays.
Oleg was accused of de-anonymizing security officials and, while abroad, allegedly continuing to "post anti-state information on social media and promote resistance to government officials." On his channel, he published videos of Belarusian solidarity protests in Kyiv, where he had lived since 2020. He was also accused of making "cynical comments" about deceased KGB officer Dmitry Fedosyuk.
In September 2022, he was convicted under several articles of the Criminal Code, including "inciting racial, national, religious, or other social hatred or discord." The court sentenced him to imprisonment in a maximum-security penal colony and ordered him to pay substantial compensation.
In July 2023, Oleg was convicted again of "malicious disobedience to the demands of the prison administration"—a charge often applied to political prisoners who refuse to cooperate with the prison administration. In September of that year, it was reported that he had been transferred to a prison regime.
It was revealed that Oleg faced another court hearing in the first half of summer 2025 under the same charge of "insubordination." The appeal hearing was scheduled for mid-July.

Artyom was detained on August 4 by GUBOP officers. Yegor was arrested in February 2021 and later convicted of setting fire to a T-72 tank aboard a military train at the Stepyanka railway station. According to the case file, on the night of January 31, 2021, he threw a Molotov cocktail with the inscription "OGSB" at the tank. His actions were classified as an "act of terrorism." According to the prosecution, Yegor committed the arson based on his political views.
In early October 2023, it was announced that Yegor had been transferred to Pretrial Detention Center No. 1 in connection with a new criminal case opened under the article "organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation therein." In this case, he was sentenced to an additional six months in prison.
Yuri was detained and convicted on several counts, including illegal possession of a bladed weapon. It all started with a video of a BMW driver beating up a man with a white-red-white flag. The video went viral on social media, and the address of the driver, Dmitry Davydyuk, was published. Nikita, an activist in the anarchist movement, was detained in March 2021 as part of a criminal case brought against anarchists from the Brest region. He was convicted of "participation in group actions that grossly violate public order" and "participation in a criminal organization." Nikita was arrested for spraying gas in the face of a riot police officer while he was trying to protect a person at a protest. He was beaten, had his hair cut with a knife, and had gas sprayed in his face. In December 2020, he was sentenced to four years of restricted freedom, but the prosecutor later succeeded in increasing the sentence to two and a half years in prison. Nikita did not appear in court, relaying through a friend that arbitrary detentions were planned in the courtroom, threatening him and others.

Since May 13, 2025, there has been no information about the political prisoner. Correspondence and parcels to him are prohibited. There is also no information about Nikita's case and the court date. In addition, it is reported that the investigator in the political prisoner's case is prohibited from informing Nikita's relatives and friends about the status and progress of the case.

Nikolai is the leader of the unregistered Belarusian Social Democratic Party (Narodnaya Hramada), a former presidential candidate, a retired lieutenant colonel, and a PhD in engineering. He was one of the founders of the Belarusian Military Association. He has been imprisoned multiple times for political reasons.
In the 1990s, he organized protests, including the Minsk Spring and the 1999 march.
In 2004, he led street protests against referendum fraud, after which he was sentenced in 2005 to three years of restricted freedom. Due to an amnesty announced in honor of the 60th anniversary of Victory Day, his sentence was reduced by one year. In 2010, he participated in the presidential campaign and protests in Minsk, after which he was arrested and sentenced in 2011 to six years in a maximum-security penal colony. In January 2012 and May 2015, his sentence was increased, resulting in his imprisonment. He was released in August 2015 as part of a pardon.
After his release, he continued his political activity and participation in street protests. In 2016, the Belarusian National Congress was founded on his initiative. In 2020, he spoke out in support of Svetlana Tikhanovskaya , the wife of another unregistered candidate, social blogger Sergei Tikhanovsky . Nikolai was detained again on May 31, 2020, on his way to her election picket. He initially received 15 days of administrative arrest but was never released. Subsequently, in December 2021, he was convicted of criminal charges of "organizing mass riots."
According to human rights activists, the defendants in the case are required to pay compensation in the amount of 29 million rubles.
On September 11, 2025, it was reported that 52 prisoners of the Belarusian regime had been forcibly transferred to Lithuania. Among those released was Mikalai Statkevich. However, Mikalai refused to leave Belarus, and had to kick down the bus doors to do so. After waiting for several hours in the neutral zone, he returned to Belarus. It was only two months later that he was re-arrested. His exact whereabouts are unknown.
