A military serviceman, a parachutist (likely retired), is involved in a case related to the activities of the Joint Transitional Cabinet (JTC), designated a "terrorist organization" by the KGB. It is known that he was previously featured in a story on state television (ONT or STV), dedicated to his receipt of an apartment for his professional achievements.
Security officials became interested in Rutkevich because of his acquaintance and communication with Valery Sakhashchik and Dmitry Zara.
In March 2026, Alexander Rutkevich was detained during a wave of arrests in connection with the OPK case, which involved approximately eight people in total. He is currently being held in a KGB pretrial detention facility. He is charged with participating in the OPK under Article 290-1 (terrorism) and disseminating official information under Article 179 of the Criminal Code.
