22.09.2025 He died tragically. It's believed that pressure continued to be exerted on Valery after his pardon.

Anna Kondratenko

Voynily, 39 years

05.02.2025 She died six months after her release from oncology, which she had been diagnosed with in prison. She served a full 3 years of imprisonment for her comments. Despite her serious illness, Anna was not released early.

Valentin Shtermer

Gomel, 60 years

XX.01.2025 Valentin was sentenced to 5 years in prison for "eight comments on the topic of Russian aggression" and for joining an extremist group. He came to the colony after a stroke. Valentin died in early 2025. It is not certain whether Shtermer died in the colony or was taken to a hospital - a prison or civilian one. Detailed information is hidden by the RB regime.

Svetlana Krutsikova

Pinks, 60 y.o.

10.12.2024 Svetlana was brought to justice under so-called extremist articles, could not withstand the pressure and committed suicide.

Dmitry Schletthauer

Kamenec, 22 years

11.10.2024 Dmitry was sent to serve his sentence in Penal Colony No. 15. Shortly after the transfer, he was found dead. The exact cause of death is unknown.

Alexander Kulinich

Maladzyechna, 51 year

09.04.2024 was in jail and awaiting trial, which was scheduled to take place on April 16, 2024. However, a week before, on April 9, the man died of coronary heart disease.

Igor Lednik

Minsk, 63 years

20.02.2024 had a 2nd disability group. Served in IK-2 (Bobruisk), died of cardiac arrest in the hospital.

Vadim Khrasko

Minsk, 50 years

09.01.2024 had a number of illnesses and was very ill in prison. The official cause of death was pneumonia. Vadim was taken to the hospital when he could no longer be saved.

Ales Pushkin

Bobr, 57 years

11.07.2023 Ales' wife reported his death in intensive care under unclear circumstances. Ales was a famous artist and performer in Belarus.

Nikolaj Klimovich

Pinsk, 61 year

07.05.2023 had heart problems, was sentenced to 1 year in prison, died in IK-3 (Vitba) a few weeks after transfer.

Uladzimir Krysionak (Vladimir Krysionok)

Navapolatsk, 41 years old

30.05.2022 an employee of Naftan, who participated in the strike, was found hanged at home. On May 24, Vladimir was detained by the GUBOPiK, but after 72 hours he was released on bail. The security forces threatened Vladimir with 12 years in prison.

12.10.2021 a bus driver who was seriously injured by a stun grenade explosion during a protest on 10 August 2020.

Andrei Zelcar (Andrei Zelcer)

Minsk, 31 years old

28.09.2021 shot by Belarusian KGB officers, when security officers stormed his apartment in Minsk. The officer he shot at died from injuries.

Vital Shyshou (Vitaly Shyshov)

Kyiv, 26 years old

02.08.2021 he left his flat in Kyiv to go jogging and disappeared. On 3 August his body was found hanged in Sviatoshynsky Forest Park with marks of beating on his face.

Dzmitry Stachouski (Dmitry Stakhovsky)

Minsk, 17 years old

25.05.2021 was being investigated for taking part in anti-government protests on 9-11 August 2020. Killed himself. In his suicide note he wrote, "The Investigative Committee is to blame for that."

Ogorodniki, 50 years

21.05.2021 Member of the Sei of the BNF party, coordinator of the Grodno region "Rukha za Svabodu". He was sentenced to 5 years in prison on 18 January 2021, and died in a penal colony in Škloŭ reportedly from cardiac arrest.

Siarhiej Schatsinka (Sergey Schetinko)

11.12.2020 "after released from detention centre in Asipovičy, where he served an administrative arrest for protests, he was complainging about his health. There he got infected with Covid. "

Raman Bandarenka (Roman Bondarenko)

Minsk, 31 years old

12.11.2020 beaten by plainclothes police officers in courtyard near his house in Minsk; died in the hospital due to brain damage.

Stanislau Chur (Stanislav Chur)

Minsk, 31 years old

19.09.2020 a worker Minsk Electrotechnical Plant, committed suicide. He was found hanged during a lunch break. He constantly attended rallies and strikes, for which he faced pressure from the administration.

Aliaksiei Dziamidau (Alexey Demidov)

Minsk, 25 years old

05.09.2020 his body was found in Minsk. He was a football fan. According to the preliminary conclusion of experts, he died from poisoning, with no signs of violence on his body. His relatives said they were evident.

Hienadz Shutau (Gennady Shutov)

Brest, 43 years old

19.08.2020 shot dead in Brest. Irreversible brain damage from a gunshot wound to the head.

Kanstantsin Shyshmakou (Konstantin Shishmakov)

Vaukavysk, 29 years old

15.08.2020 found dead in a forest by the Nioman river. He was one of two members of the commission at the polling station in Volkovysk, who refused to sign the falsified protocol at the elections.

12.08.2020 died in a police van from cardiac arrest; a lot of people were stuffed in the police van, no help was provided.

Mikita Kryucou (Nikita Krivtsov)

Maladziechna, 28 years old

12.08.2020 found hanged near Parnikovaja Street in the Partyzanski district of Minsk. He was the leader of football fans in Molodechno and one of the main organizers of rallies against unfair elections in his city.

Hienadz Kisiel (Gennady Kisiel)

Salihorsk, 50 years old

12.08.2020 a watchman of the Salihorsk department of the KGB, Leanid Štajda, killed Hienadź Kisiel with clippers right on the street for differences in political views.
