Anastasia was detained along with her mother in December 2021 as part of a criminal case opened under the article "organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them," and was placed in pretrial detention.
In March 2022, she was found guilty and sentenced to a term of imprisonment without being sent to an open correctional facility, and was released in the courtroom after the verdict was announced.
On September 20, 2023, Anastasia fully served her sentence of restricted freedom.

How to write a letter

✍️️ Remember that every letter is censored. This means that your letters are read by strangers whose main goal is to limit inmates' access to information or to use it against the prisoners or even you.
So try to avoid:

👉 statements against the authorities and public servants
👉 foul language
👉 discussion of the circumstances of the criminal case
