Artem Zubryakov, a Belagro employee, was detained in late September 2022 along with his colleagues. Criminal cases were reportedly opened against four of them, and approximately 20 were detained. Pro-government sources reported that the company's employees had been actively protesting since 2020.
During a search in the fall of 2022, paraphernalia and furniture in white-red-white colors were seized from them.
Artem Zubryakov noted that he was detained for subscribing to "prohibited" Telegram channels and forwarding "extremist" materials.
The trial was held behind closed doors.
On March 19, 2026, he was pardoned after another visit to Minsk by US President Donald Trump's special representative, John Cole (among a group of 235 prisoners left in Belarus).
