According to the prosecution, Zhviridovsky is being tried because he allegedly hung a white-red-white flag at one of the Ostrovets schools at night in June of this year, and also painted three stripes in a white-red-white combination on a stone. In addition, he tore down the red-green flag from the building of one of the government institutions in the regional center. There is no official information about this process at the stand of the Ostrovetsky court; in fact, this process is not only completely closed, but also “classified.”
On May 16, 2024, he was released after fully serving the sentence imposed by the court.
