The man headed the Dakhmira Group of Companies. It's an international business that sells equipment for pig farms, dairy farms, and poultry farms. The company has offices in Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Armenia (before the war, it also had an office in Ukraine).
Until the end of 2024, he was also the CEO of the Russian company Milport, which traded cheeses.
Outside of work, Denis was interested in enduro motorcycles.
