Dmitry was detained on September 21, 2022 by GUBOPiK officers. The teacher was forced to read his own poems on camera and make excuses - he allegedly went to protests in August 2020, wrote messages on Facebook and VKontakte. Screenshots from his social networks criticizing the actions of the authorities also appeared on pro-government channels.
Children's poet and prose writer, winner of the Writers for Children competition (2017). He is a member of the International Union of Writers "New Contemporary", the Belarusian Literary Union of Writers "Polotsk Branch". Teacher at the Smart School private school.
According to human rights activists, he will be released in the summer of 2024, having fully served the sentence imposed by the court.
