Natalia was detained in November 2021 as part of a criminal case opened under two articles: "insulting Lukashenko" and "insulting a government official," and remanded in custody pending trial.
In May 2022, she was found guilty and sentenced to imprisonment in a penal colony and a large fine.
She was released in July 2022, having fully served her sentence.
After some time, pressure began to be put on Natalia again, and she decided to leave Belarus.
