Pyotr was found guilty of desecration of state symbols on May 4, 2021, for allegedly damaging a flag on the façade of a grocery store while intoxicated in the village of Bystritsa, Kobrin District. He did so "with the intent to damage the authority of the Republic of Belarus."
According to human rights activists, Pyotr was released in 2022, having fully served his sentence.
