He served his sentence in a correctional institution under Article 328 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, where his sentence was replaced with a restriction of liberty to imprisonment (10 months and 7 days). While in the correctional institution, he wrote "offensive" comments, for which he was sentenced to 1 year and 1 month of imprisonment.
On January 22, 2024, Vadim was tried again under Article 411, Part 1 of the Criminal Code, “Malicious disobedience to the demands of the administration of a correctional institution executing a sentence of imprisonment.”
He was scheduledto be released onJuly 6, 2025.
