Vadim was arrested in late January 2022 on charges of "organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them," and placed in pretrial detention.
In May 2022, he was convicted of participating in the 2020 post-election protests in Minsk and sentenced to restricted freedom without being sent to an open correctional facility.
