A resident of Volkovysk was detained for comments about Russian military personnel . Pro-government Telegram channels published a "repentant video " in which the man says he was detained for insulting Russian military personnel "serving in Ukraine " on Telegram , insulting the head of the regional executive committee, and insulting the Grodno military commissar.
According to human rights activists, he was expected to be released in the spring of 2026.
