Elena Leonidovna Drozdova is an employee of law enforcement agencies involved in politically motivated repressions. She treated women in Penal Colony No. 4 with bias, humiliated them, exerted psychological pressure on political prisoners, and threatened to send them to solitary confinement. She denied political prisoners access to lawyers, and if lawyers persisted, she ordered penalties imposed on the prisoners, resulting in their placement in solitary confinement. Under her instructions, junior staff found excuses to deny political prisoners short-term visits, citing cleaning or a waiting list.
