An accomplice to crimes against the rights and freedoms of citizens of Belarus. Naruta Pavel Evgenievich is an employee of state bodies involved in politically motivated repressions. Naruta Pavel acted as a state prosecutor in the case against a resident of Slutsk, found guilty under Part 1 of Article 339 of the Criminal Code for scattering screws near the building of the District Department of Internal Affairs "with the purpose of damaging the wheels of official transport." The man explained why he committed his actions: "On August 4, I was driving home from work and saw that there were paddy wagons in the city, then I went home. After that, I had a drink, called a taxi and decided to see what was happening in the city. I saw how riot police were forcibly taking people into paddy wagons. Then I went to a hardware store, bought screws and, sitting in the back seat of a taxi, scattered them along Ulasovtsa Street from the building of the District Department of Internal Affairs to the prosecutor's office." Naruta requested a sentence of 1 year and 6 months of restriction of freedom without referral to an open-type correctional facility for the man. However, Judge Alexander Shutko imposed a harsher punishment and sentenced him to restriction of freedom with referral to an open-type correctional facility for 1 year.
