He was detained on September 9, 2020, Ilya Salei’s apartment was searched, and he himself was taken for questioning to the Investigative Committee.
The Investigative Committee stated that Ilya Salei is suspected of a criminal offense under Part 3 of Art. 361 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
On September 11 he was transferred to pre-trial detention center-1 in Minsk. On October 16, the preventive measure against Ilya Salei was changed to house arrest. On April 16, 2021, Ilya Saleya’s preventive measure was changed from house arrest to bail. Salei remained in the status of an accused and was obliged to appear when summoned by investigative authorities and the court. Was forced to leave the Republic of Belarus.

Kirill Ivanov, a Minsk resident, was sentenced to two years of "house arrest" for a comment about a border service employee. In January 2024, three members of the group were detained : Alexander Ilyin, Sergei Kulsha, Dmitry Kholyavkin . A “repentance” video was recorded with Alexander Ilyin. It was also reported that the musicians were detained upon their return to Belarus. They continued to live in their homeland, but sometimes went to concerts abroad.
According to human rights activists, on January 8, in the Leninsky District Court of Mogilev, the musicians were tried under Article 19.11 of the Administrative Code (distribution of extremist materials).
On January 29, 2024 , it became known that the musicians were transferred to a pre-trial detention center in Minsk. Apparently, criminal cases have been opened against them. It is currently unknown what exactly “crimes” the group members are accused of.

The man’s “repentance video” was shown in one of Azarenka’s programs, where Alexander “admits” to participating in protests and reposting on Facebook on the topic of elections and COVID. Note that in the propagandist’s program Tereshchenko is also called an officer and “the head of the KGB of the Borisov region” .
