In a “repentance” video published in mid-March, Artem said that he was detained “for moderating the 97% Serebryanka chat.” But the channel was recognized as an “extremist formation” only on May 30, 2023.

He began to be tried in the Minsk City Court on August 29, 2023 under Part 1 of Art. 361-1 of the Criminal Code (Creation of an extremist formation).

In the “repentance video,” the detainee says that he is a first-year student at the Belarusian State Pedagogical University and allegedly “administered a nationalist chat of Belarusians and Ukrainians,” where cruelty against the Russian military was published.

The guy also “admits to distributing Nazi and extremist materials.”
