He convicted Denis Kiselyov under Part 1 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code (insulting Lukashenko) for a photo of his middle finger in front of a TV with Lukashenko’s speech on New Year’s Eve, which he posted in a closed telegram chat. Zdanovich imposed a sentence of 1 year and 6 months of restriction of freedom with a transfer to an open correctional facility. In addition, Denis’s smartphone, from which the same photo was taken and posted, was confiscated. Convicted Vitaliy Zarodey, accused under Articles 391 of the Criminal Code (Insulting judges) and 368 of the Criminal Code (Insulting Lukashenko) and imposed a sentence of 1 year and 6 months of imprisonment under Part 1 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code and two years of restriction of freedom without referral to the IWOT under Article 391 CC.
