Vladimir Stepanovich Kosmach is involved in politically motivated repressions in the Republic of Belarus. Kosmach is responsible for the fact that, as a judge of the Gantsevichi District Court, he makes politically motivated sentences against representatives of civil society of the Republic of Belarus. In particular, on June 23, 2020, he convicted 6 activists for participating in a peaceful protest under Article 23.34 of the Administrative Code. In 2022, Kosmach sentenced a Minsk resident to three years of restriction of freedom for a comment in a telegram channel. On December 22, 2021, Vladimir Kosmach sentenced a resident of Gantsevichi to 2 years of restriction of freedom for a comment on a social network. Thus, Kosmach Vladimir Stepanovich is responsible for promoting repression against representatives of civil society and the democratic opposition.
