Pavel was arrested on December 1, 2020, along with Nikolai Autukhovich, whom the authorities immediately declared "the organizer and leader of a terrorist group." He was convicted of "participation in a criminal organization" and "an act of terrorism."
In February 2024, a trial was held on the issue of changing the conditions of the regime, but the outcome is still unknown. In the spring of the same year, Pavel and two other defendants in the "case" were ordered to pay more than 40 thousand rubles in compensation for damage to the property of police officers.
