Natalia Vladimirovna Protosovitskaya is involved in politically motivated repressions in the Republic of Belarus. Protosovitskaya is responsible for the fact that, as a judge of the Oktyabrsky District Court of Minsk, she passed politically motivated sentences against representatives of civil society of the Republic of Belarus. In particular, she made decisions on the arrests of democratic activists during the 2006 election campaign. She also sentenced demonstrators in December 2010. In February 2011, she sentenced Grodno journalist Andrei Poczobut to 15 days of administrative arrest for participating in an unauthorized protest in the Belarusian capital on December 19, 2010. For her crimes she was included in the sanctions lists of EU countries Thus, Natalya Vladimirovna Protosovitskaya is responsible for promoting repression against representatives of civil society and the democratic opposition.
