According to the materials of the criminal case, Alexei Mikhnyuk from an unidentified device in extremist chats on Telegram repeatedly posted messages that contradicted universal morality, and at the same time containing statements expressed in an indecent form, humiliating the honor and dignity of Alexander Lukashenko. The accused also posted insults against the press secretary of the head of the presidential administration, Natalya Eismont.

During the trial, Mikhnyuk admitted his guilt in his crime and repented.

According to human rights activists, he will be released in the spring of 2024 , having fully served the sentence imposed by the court.

According to the indictment, on April 22, 2021, at 7:44 a.m., Yuri Yudchits publicly, “with the purpose of humiliating honor and dignity,” insulted a government official in connection with the performance of his official duties — police officer of the OMON platoon of the Brest City Executive Committee Internal Affairs Directorate Vladislav Shukaev.

As soon as Yuri was released, a criminal case was opened against him again, and again for a comment about a police officer. This time, the victim was the head of the Berezovsky District Department of Internal Affairs' juvenile affairs inspectorate, Dmitry Lishko. The second sentence was handed down on 24.06.2022

Yuri left Belarus.

On September 30 , 2024, the Berezovsky District Court will hear Yuri's case "on replacing the restriction of freedom without sending him to an open-type correctional facility."
