Vladimir was detained on May 9, 2023 at the Terespol-Brest border crossing when returning to Belarus. His phone was checked and then he was detained.
There are several known administrative courts against Vladimir. So, on May 10, 16, 26 and June 7 he was tried under Part 2 of Art. 19.11 Code of Administrative Offenses (distribution of extremist materials) and was sentenced to arrest. The last time he was sentenced to 15 days
Searches were carried out at the place where he and his relatives lived. Since his arrest, Vladimir has been kept in the temporary detention center of the Leninsky District Department of Internal Affairs in Brest.
On the night of June 22-23, 2023, Vladimir was released into a temporary detention facility.
Vladimir was detained again on October 28, 2023 in the Drogichinsky district. There was a preliminary search and seizure of office equipment; after checking his phone, he was detained under Art. 19.11 part 2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (distribution of information products included in the republican list of extremist materials, as well as production, publication, storage or transportation for the purpose of disseminating such information). It is known that Vladimir was arrested because of old subscriptions.
The trial date is still unknown. Since his arrest he has been held in the temporary detention center of the Ivanovo region .
On December 11, 2023, it became known that Vladimir was free.

Dmitry lived in Ukraine for a long time, and in 2019 he married a Ukrainian woman there. He did not serve in the Belarusian army, but in Ukraine he joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces as a supply officer. From March to October 2021, he worked as a guard at a military warehouse in the demarcation zone between the DPR/LPR and the territory controlled by Ukraine.
In the fall of 2021, having lost his Belarusian passport, Dmitry went to the embassy in Kyiv, where he was issued a temporary document and advised to go to Belarus for a new passport. However, immediately after crossing the border, he was detained. For two days in a row, the KGB interrogated him on suspicion of "terrorism" and "weapons transportation."
No facts were found, but Dmitry was transferred from the temporary detention facility to a pretrial detention center and a case of "mercenarism" was opened (Article 133 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus). Later, the article was reclassified, and in March 2022, he was convicted of "participation in military actions on the territory of a foreign state without the authorization of Belarus." During his stay in the pretrial detention center, Dmitry's daughter was born.
According to human rights activists, he was released in the winter of 2024, having fully served his sentence.

In December 2022, he was found guilty of "active participation in group actions that grossly violate public order" and sentenced to restricted freedom without being sent to an open correctional facility. He was released from custody in the courtroom after the verdict was announced.

Since August 2020, Dmitry has been repeatedly subjected to political persecution by security forces: preventive detentions, searches, and fines.
He was first convicted in December 2020 of "stealing a radio" from a riot police officer during a protest and sentenced to restricted freedom without being sent to a correctional facility.
In November 2021, Dmitry was again detained in connection with a criminal case opened under the articles "slander," "insulting a government official," and "insulting Lukashenko."
In January 2022, he was found guilty and sentenced to imprisonment in a penal colony and a large fine.
He was released in the spring of 2024, having fully served his sentence.

Irina, a Russian citizen, was arrested on May 28, 2021, in Brest and convicted in September of that year for a tweet published on May 23. It contained a link to a LiveJournal post reprinting a BBC Russian Service report on the incident with the Ryanair flight carrying Roman Protasevich. She added her own headline to the reprint: "Lukashenko's latest crime: an act of state aviation piracy." The expression "an act of state aviation piracy" was used in the BBC text as a quote from the Greek Foreign Ministry's response.
On September 1, 2022, she was released after serving her sentence and immediately deported to Russia with a 10-year ban on entering Belarus.
