According to the prosecution , Andrei Kholupko, using a mobile phone on the Odnoklassniki social network, in 2020, 2021 and 2023, put four likes on caricatured images of Alexander Lukashenko, in which he was shown as a clown, a monkey, and also together with Vladimir Putin in the pit, thereby publicly, in the public domain, insulted the president.

At the trial, Kholupko indicated that by liking he did not think that this was an insult, he added that no one paid him money for this and he acted impulsively.

On February 24, 2024, he was released after fully serving the sentence imposed by the court.

Oleg was tried for having painted several walls in the entrance of a multi-story building in February 2023. The inscriptions contained insults to A. Lukashenko.

Kardash was detained for the first time in March 2023. He was tried three times under administrative articles. Each time, he was sentenced to "24 hours." The first trial took place on March 9, 2023, because a video from August 2020 with the TUT.BY logo was found on the man's Odnoklassniki social network. The second trial took place on March 17, because cutting boards with "an image of a dog in a helmet with the SS emblem, a board with an image of a man in a helmet with the SS emblem" were found at the man's home - that is, Kardash allegedly "stored items with Nazi symbols for the purpose of distribution." The third trial took place on March 29 because he shared a video on the Odnoklassniki social network: the video had the Nexta logo (there was a brutal suppression of the Minsk protests that took place on the night of August 9-10, 2020). Kardash shared this video on August 14, 2020.

Svetlana was first convicted under an administrative article for “distribution, production, storage, transportation of information products containing calls for extremist activities or promoting such activities,” after which a criminal case was opened against her for insulting A.G. Lukashenko.

According to the materials of the prosecution in the criminal case, Svetlana on her page in Odnoklassniki allegedly “placed a publication and video with a screensaver containing deliberately false information about Alexander Lukashenko, associated with accusing him of committing especially serious crimes, such as “murder”, “treason” state”, which do not correspond to reality and discredit its authority in the eyes of the public."

Safanovich was accused of writing messages in a Telegram chat on October 25, 2020, calling for road closures. According to the prosecution and the court, in his first message, Safanovich "called for active participation in group actions in the Luninets district that grossly violate public order," i.e. Safanovich allegedly committed a crime under Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.

Safanovich was also charged under Part 1 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, i.e. public slander against Lukashenko. As follows from the article of the state publication, Safanovich wrote a second message in the same chat on August 13, 2020, under a photo of a tearful woman leaving Okrestina. The caption to the video was as follows : "Confession of a Belarusian girl who was in the dungeons of Lukashenko's Gestapo. Do I understand correctly that Lukashenko became the second after Hitler to attack the people of Belarus?"

On July 18, 2023, the appeal was heard and the verdict came into force.

Mikhail Stolyarchuk was convicted under Article 358-1 of the Criminal Code (intelligence activities). He is a Ukrainian citizen. His nephew, Dmitry Gudik, was also charged in the case. According to the prosecution, they had been collecting data on military equipment and facilities in Belarus on behalf of the Security Service of Ukraine since 2018. Igor Dirko was also detained with them, but instead of being prosecuted, he was deported from Belarus.

Worked as a bus driver on Belarus-Ukraine routes.

He was pardoned on November 22, 2025, along with 31 other Ukrainian citizens. According to Lukashenko's press service, this occurred as part of "agreements reached" with US President Donald Trump and "at the request of the Ukrainian side in order to create conditions for resolving the armed conflict in the neighboring state." The released citizens were immediately handed over to the Ukrainian side.
