Vladimir Vladimirovich Klishin personally takes direct part in politically motivated repressions in the Republic of Belarus, the consequence of which is, among other things, the death of people persecuted by the current regime.
Vladimir Klishin is one of those who leads the repressions in the city of Grodno. In August 2020, he met with protesting workers of Grodnozhilstroy and spoke to the Khimvolokno team. In both cases, Klishin used threats to put pressure on workers who were dissatisfied with the falsification of the results of the presidential elections in the Republic of Belarus.
According to Vladimir Klishin's statements, a number of Grodno Telegram channels were recognized as extremist, including the former Hrodna.life channel. Klishin also acted as an applicant for the liquidation of public organizations and associations through the court. Based on the lawsuit of Vladimir Klishin, the court decided to liquidate the Center for Grodno Life and Grodno Life Media LLC.
In July 2021, the prosecutor issued an official warning to the editor-in-chief of Hrodna.life, Alexei Shota, about responsibility for violating Article 23.5, 198-1 and 361 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code (violation of the law on mass media, calls for actions aimed at harming the national security of Belarus and promoting extremist activity).
For a painting depicting anti-Soviet Yevgeny Zhikhar, Klishin opened a criminal case against Ales Pushkin, who was subsequently killed in prison.
He acted as a state prosecutor in the trials of Konstantin Polyak, who was recognized as a political prisoner, and Dmitry Zimnitsky, and the appeal of the sentence of Vadim Plavsky.
Vladimir Klishin summoned the editor of the Znadniemna.pl website, journalist Andrzej Pisalnik, for a conversation, and the next day he and his wife were forcibly taken to Minsk for questioning by the Investigative Committee.
Klishin represented the prosecution in the Grodno Regional Court during the appeal in the case of Witold Ashurka, who was later killed in prison.
In 2022, he was awarded the Order of Honor for his crimes.
Thus, Vladimir Vladimirovich Klishin is responsible for human rights violations and the undermining of the rule of law, as well as for facilitating repression against representatives of civil society and the democratic opposition, the consequence of which is, among other things, the death of people persecuted by the regime. His work as a prosecutor is focused on maintaining the position of the current government, and not on compliance with the law. Klishin's actions contribute to human rights violations, the strengthening of the power of Alexander Lukashenko and the intensification of politically motivated repression in the Republic of Belarus.
