Svetlana Yurievna Makarevich is an employee of the judiciary involved in politically motivated repressions, in which thousands of peaceful demonstrators, several hundred journalists, human rights defenders and activists were detained and subjected to violence. She handed down guilty verdicts in politically motivated cases, where she imposed punishment in the form of a fine totaling at least 810 rubles and administrative arrest for a total period of at least 27 days. As chairman, she is responsible for all decisions made in the Oktyabrsky District Court.
