Accomplice to crimes against the rights and freedoms of citizens of Belarus. Shikovetsky Alexander Igorevich is an employee of the security forces involved in politically motivated repressions, within the framework of which thousands of peaceful protesters, several hundred journalists, human rights defenders and activists were detained and subjected to violence. Acts as a state prosecutor in politically motivated criminal cases for insulting government officials. For example, he spoke out against Zarodey Vitaly, accused under Articles 391 of the Criminal Code (insulting judges) and 368 of the Criminal Code (insulting the president). Shikovetsky requested the maximum sentences for the man under both articles, i.e. two years of imprisonment and three years of restricted freedom, respectively. As a result, Vitaly was sentenced to two years of imprisonment to be served in a general regime colony. Acted as a state prosecutor in the case of Yakubovich Andrey, accused under Article 369 of the Criminal Code for insulting a government official. Shikovetsky asked the court to sentence the man to two years of restricted freedom without being sent to an open-type correctional facility. This is the punishment that the court handed down.
