He took direct part in the violent suppression of protests in Brest. He represented the victim in the case of insulting a government official (Article 369 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus) in the trial of Vladislav Yershov, for his partner's posting of leaflets with images of police officers on residential buildings, the content of which the prosecution interpreted as "contrary to universal morality." The leaflets contained information about the Ministry of Internal Affairs officers who participated in the violent suppression of protests and their beatings of peaceful protesters. Specifically, they contained information about Denis Shukayev. The court sentenced Vladislav to two years of restricted freedom without being sent to an open correctional facility.

Vladislav was found guilty in March 2021 of insulting a government official for posting flyers on residential buildings on Moskovskaya and Orlovskaya Streets in Brest. According to the charges, the flyers contained photographs of police officers and texts "contrary to universal morality" and "written in an obscene manner."
