Dmitriy Gennadievich Kurovsky
Accomplice in crimes against the rights and freedoms of citizens of Belarus. Dmitry Gennadievich Kurovsky is an employee of the judicial authorities involved in politically motivated repressions, in which thousands of peaceful demonstrators, several hundred journalists, human rights defenders and activists were detained and subjected to violence.
He handed down guilty verdicts in politically motivated cases, where he imposed punishment in the form of a fine totaling at least 16,670 rubles, and administrative arrest for a total period of at least 179 days.
Convicted Sergei Yuryevich Nikityuk under Part 1 of Article 368 (Insulting Lukashenko) and Part 1 of Article 361-4 (Promoting extremist activities). The reason for the persecution was Sergei’s comment on the Internet; it is also known that the guy sent a photo of his voting ballot to the NEXTA editorial bot. Kurovsky sentenced Sergei to 3 years of imprisonment in a colony under general regime conditions.
Convicted political prisoner Yevgeny Tazov under Article 369 (Insulting a government official) and Part 1 of Article 130 (Inciting social hostility or discord) of the Criminal Code for commenting on the Internet. Kurovsky imposed a sentence of two and a half years in prison under general regime conditions. Also, Evgeniy’s phone was confiscated as a “means of committing a crime.”

List of repressed
On September 15, 2023, 57-year-old Gennady Vasilyuk was fined for "distributing extremist materials." Subscriptions to "extremist" materials were found on Gennady's Odnoklassniki page. Furthermore, Vasilyuk was dismissed from the locomotive depot "by mutual agreement."
On December 7, 2023, Gennady was arrested in connection with a criminal case for "defamation of Lukashenko" (Part 1, Article 367 of the Criminal Code) and placed in pretrial detention. The case was heard on February 22 and 26, 2024.
The man was accused of posting "likes" on three videos featuring economist Yaroslav Romanchuk on the social media site Odnoklassniki on June 8, 9, and 17, 2022.
Gennady admitted his guilt and stated that on the specified dates in June, he traveled to a village in the Zhabinka district, as confirmed by a mobile phone statement. He uses a push-button phone, so he couldn't have accessed Odnoklassniki while in the village.
Prosecutor Yegor Kronda found Gennady's guilt fully proven and requested a sentence of one year and six months in prison for him.
Gennady was convicted a second time on September 16, 2024, for participating in protests. His wife and three others were also convicted along with him. According to the court, the charge against all three was that on August 10, 2020, in Brest, people "shouted slogans, whistled, clapped, displayed white-red-white banners, and stepped onto the roadway." In doing so, they allegedly grossly violated public order.
The court sentenced Gennady to one and a half years in prison, but taking into account the unserved previous (political) sentence, the final sentence was only two years in a general regime penal colony.
He was expected to be released in October 2025 .
In the "repentance video," the man says he was detained for participating in a rally after the elections and going out into the roadway.
According to the prosecution , from August 10 to 11, 2020, then-minors Yulia Sharanova, Nikita Voytyuk, Nikolai Nikityuk, as well as Vasily Alekseyuk, Gleb Klimovich, Vitaly Varfalameev, Alexander Tysevich, and Maksim Sobolev, while on the roadway of Masherov Avenue, Kosmonavtov and Shevchenko Boulevards, and Sovetskaya Street in Brest, " shouted slogans, displayed white-red-white banners, grossly violating public order, and deliberately obstructed the movement of vehicles and the normal functioning of businesses and organizations."
At the court hearing, everyone admitted their guilt completely.
In September 2025, he was released , having fully served his sentence.

According to the indictment, Vladimir Lukyanchuk wrote an offensive comment in the telegram chat "Borodach Chat" on September 8, 2023. In the message, Alexander Grigorievich was called a word that means "chatterbox" (but in an obscene form).

Marina, a seamstress by trade, was convicted in October 2023 for posting an image of Lukashenko on Odnoklassniki, which the court deemed "undermining the authority of state power." She was detained before being charged and remained under house arrest pending trial.
On November 17, 2023, the appeal was considered. The verdict came into force. However, on December 4, 2023, a new court hearing was held under Article 369 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
On February 13, 2024, the appeal was considered and the verdict entered into force.
Kirill's sentence, handed down in the summer of 2023, was announced in a local state television report. The report stated that the criminal case was based on a Telegram comment containing obscene language directed at Lukashenko, written in 2022. Kirill was sentenced to restricted freedom and sent to an open correctional facility.
In December 2024, a new court hearing was announced regarding the issue of replacing the restricted freedom sentence with a prison term in a penal colony. The outcome of the hearing, as well as Kirill's presence, remains unknown.

Telegram channels supporting the current government of the Republic of Belarus published the news that a 32 year old man allegedly insulted Lukashenko in the comments (the comment consists of only one word «trash», written under the news with a quote from Lukashenko that special services with vast experience are working against us today) .
The second charge also concerns Sergey's Internet activity. According to the prosecution, no later than 14:39 on February 27, 2022, the man sent a photo of the bulletin with two checkmarks to the NEXTA telegram bot. Thus, according to the prosecution, Sergey committed a crime under Part 1 of Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (Promotion of extremist activity).

Dmitry was accused of sending photos and videos of military equipment with comments to the «Nexta» chat-bot in a telegram.
On February 12, 2022, he sent a video showing an unmarked plane flying at night, and he made a similar video on February 27. On March 3, Dmitry took off a tanker truck with the identification mark «V». On March 17, he sent a photo and video where something was allegedly launched from Baranovichi towards Ukraine.
None of these materials, as well as textual information, have been published in the «Nexta» channels.
Yevgeny was arrested in September 2021 as part of a criminal case opened for online comments following the deaths of KGB officer Dmitry Fedosyuk and IT specialist Andrei Zeltser in Minsk.
In October 2022, he was found guilty of "inciting hatred or discord" and sentenced to imprisonment. Evgeny pleaded not guilty in court.
According to human rights activists, he was released in the summer of 2023, having fully served his sentence.
