According to the case file, on November 15, 2024, while intoxicated near a house on Mayakovsky Street, Andrei approached members of an initiative group collecting signatures for Lukashenko's nomination and "publicly made an offensive comment about him."
The court found Andrei's actions to be intentional and aimed at publicly humiliating Lukashenko's honor and dignity. In December 2024, he was found guilty and sentenced to imprisonment.
On December 13, 2025, he was released following a visit to Minsk by US President Donald Trump's special representative, Keith Kellogg, and taken to Ukraine.
