Anton worked as a cameraman at ONT. Specifically, in November 2022, he participated in training for the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Security Department on interaction with state media. Kozelsky's last report aired in October 2023.
He was allegedly detained because of comments he left on Telegram. Anton had previously been active in commenting on various political groups, but subsequently deleted his posts, and they can now only be found indirectly—through other users' responses and his activity in the groups.
In May 2024, he was found guilty of "calls to actions aimed at causing harm to the national security of the Republic of Belarus" and "inciting hostility or discord" and sentenced to imprisonment in a penal colony.
He was released on March 20, 2026, as part of a pardon following another visit to Minsk by US President Donald Trump's special representative, John Cole.
