In December of that year, he was convicted for participating in a post-election protest that took place in Minsk in 2020.

In February 2025, a court hearing in absentia was held as part of a special proceeding on the issue of replacing the restriction of freedom with a referral to a correctional facility with imprisonment in a penal colony.

✍️️ Remember that every letter is censored. This means that your letters are read by strangers whose main goal is to limit inmates' access to information or to use it against the prisoners or even you.
So try to avoid:

👉 statements against the authorities and public servants
👉 foul language
👉 discussion of the circumstances of the criminal case
