Mikhaltsov was charged with the fact that after voting in the presidential election on August 9, 2020, he went to the square in Rechitsa, and when they started detaining another guy there for no reason, he and a group of people prevented him from doing so. In particular, he allegedly went out onto the roadway on Chapaev Street and allegedly obstructed the movement of traffic. In addition, he was accused of violence against a policeman from the Rechitsa district police department, Dmitry Garay .
According to human rights activists, he was released in February 2024 after fully serving the sentence imposed by the court.
It is known that after Konstantin’s release he was tried again, under Part 2 of Art. 25.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (failure, without a good reason, by a person who has served his sentence and is under preventive supervision, to perform his duties upon prior notification by the internal affairs body of a change of residence, of leaving for personal matters in another area for a period of more than one month, or failure to appear when called without a good reason) .
