According to the charges, on the morning of May4 , Bondarenkospoke in an indecent manner about Lukashenko in the presence of other citizensnear the Transitstore . According to the prosecution,the Ukrainian's motive was"supportfor the ideas ofsocialintolerancetowards representativesof the authoritiesof the Republic ofBelarusandan opendisplayof hostilitytowardsthem."One of those presentcontactedthe police and even provided a photograph of the car in which Yuri Bondarenko and his friend left.The next day, the Ukrainianwas detainedon chargesof insulting Lukashenko .
After his arrest,hewas immediately placedin custody in Pre-trial Detention Facility No. 4 in Mogilev.
At the trial, Bondarenko admitted his guilt.

✍️️ Remember that every letter is censored. This means that your letters are read by strangers whose main goal is to limit inmates' access to information or to use it against the prisoners or even you.
So try to avoid:

👉 statements against the authorities and public servants
👉 foul language
👉 discussion of the circumstances of the criminal case
