Victoria Kostyuchenko worked as a mathematics teacher in schools, gymnasiums, college, and the Gomel Regional Institute for Education Development for over 30 years. She is the winner of the regional stage of the professional competition "Teacher of the Year 2009" and a super finalist of the national stage of this competition. She was formally repressed for a comment about the local police officer Artem Zhevnyak, who was offended by the opinion expressed about him by the teacher.
