Alexandra was detained after returning from Poland. She was convicted under eight articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, including “participation in an extremist formation” and “promoting extremist activities.”
In March 2024, an appeal was considered, as a result of which Alexandra’s term of imprisonment was reduced by one year, without the right to appeal.
It became known that on May 31, 2024, she will be retried under Articles 369 and 361 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
9 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony
According to the investigation materials, Tatiana Kurilina, from August 20, 2020 to February 20, 2022, through Telegram channels, called people to violent actions against government officials and representatives of law enforcement agencies. She, without the consent of the victims, who are recognized, including employees of the prosecutor's office and judges, illegally collected, systematized and disseminated information about their private life, thereby harming their rights and legitimate interests. In that case, some messages in the chat rooms also concerned A.G. Lukashenko.
According to «Bypol», Tatiana Kurilina was deceived by Belarusian representatives of law enforcement agencies. This woman was seduced by a young man and asked to return to him in Belarus, promised to resolve all issues. She returned, but it turned out to be a special operation of the State security Committee and she was detained.
4.5 years in prison in a penal colony.
She worked as a lawyer for almost 18 years.
She defended political prisoners Ales Pushkin, Artem Boyarsky, Igor Banzer, Andrei Avsievich, Andrei Sokolovsky in court.
On February 23, 2022, she was expelled from the Grodno Regional Bar Association for systematic violations of the law. Yulia left Belarus, but returned to the country at the end of August 2022.

Pavel and Yulia pleaded not guilty. Yurgilevich stated at the trial that she was being held in "bestial conditions" and was not allowed to get acquainted with the case.
6 years of imprisonment in a penal colony.
According to investigators, he was detained for transmitting data to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. His wife is Ukrainian. He lived in Ukraine and returned to Belarus in 2021 because of his sick parents. He was detained by the KGB, they tortured him all night to make him confess that he had previously fought in Ukraine, they called his wife and promised to send him his head. After that, Yaroslav was released. A year later, he was detained again, now he is in a pre-trial detention center.
On May 4, 2023, he was sentenced under two articles (370 and 295 of the Criminal Code) to 2 years of imprisonment; after the prosecutor's protest, the sentence was doubled. He is in pretrial detention because two more criminal cases have been initiated. He is accused under the article on treason (part 1 of article 356 of the Criminal Code) for "transferring data to the Armed Forces of Ukraine."
In the summer of 2024, it became known that Yaroslav was again transferred to Pre-trial Detention Center No. 1.
11 years of imprisonment in a colony.
A resident of Vitebsk, detained for reposts on social networks. The court is closed, the young man has no relatives. It is known that he is about 30 years old, he left for work, he was detained in Belarus on his return. Three days after his arrest, his mother died. There are no more relatives left.
4,5 years of imprisonment in a penal colony of general regime.
Investigators report that in August 2020, at some point, an SUV with foreign registration plates and tinted windows attracted the attention of police officers. When the policemen went to the car, the accused started reversing and deliberately ran over one of them, after which he fled the scene.
Traffic police officers pursued the accused, but the driver abandoned his car near the village of Antonovo, and he disappeared.

The man was put on the wanted list and upon his return from Poland on May 5, 2022 in Baranovichi, he was detained and placed in custody.
7 years of imprisonment in a penal colony of strict regime.
Political activist from Grodno. In 2017, he spoke at protests related to the introduction of a “tax on parasitism.” In 2019, I set up a tent in front of the administration of the Oktyabrsky district of Grodno to solve the housing problem. In 2020, Lavrentiev, together with activist Nikolai Solyanik, held a number of actions for the introduction of quarantine in Belarus during the coronavirus pandemic. Before the 2020 presidential elections, the activist was serving administrative arrest for an action during a meeting with Sergei Tikhanovsky. In the fall of 2020, he left Belarus for Poland.
In Poland, he volunteered to help two Belarusian refugees. but in December 2020, Alexander disappeared from a rented apartment in Bialystok. The girls' money also disappeared with him. He did not answer calls or messages. He told his friend that he calmly crossed the Polish-Belarusian border, but his case in Belarus was closed due to lack of evidence. In 2021, Alexander purchased a food truck and worked in one of the microdistricts of Grodno. I was selling shawarma. On May 2, 2022, Lavrentyev was detained right at his workplace. Detained by the Main Directorate for Organized Crime Control of the Grodno Region. After the arrest, the Grodno resident said on camera that he was detained for distributing extremist information online and insulting the president. He admitted guilt.
On October 11, 2022, an appeal hearing was held and the verdict entered into force.
In the summer of 2024, it became known that Grodno resident Alexander Lavrentiev was given another 1 year of imprisonment in a colony under Article 411 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (“malicious disobedience to the requirements of the administration of a correctional institution”).
4 years 4 months imprisonment in a colony under general regime conditions
Evgeny was detained on January 18, 2022, when he arrived in Grodno from Germany.
On camera, Yevgeny told law enforcement officers that in 2020 he was in chat rooms recognized as extremist, where he called for mass riots, police killings, burning of «Tabakerka».
7 years imprisonment in a colony
The owner of the YouTube channel “Third Region Belarus” was detained on January 10, 2022, when he returned to Belarus for the holidays.
He is accused of de-anonymizing the security forces and, after leaving for Ukraine, he continued to “post anti-state information on social networks and promote resistance to government officials.”
The man uploaded videos to his channel from solidarity rallies of Belarusians in Kyiv. He is also accused of making cynical comments about the deceased KGB officer Dmitry Fedosyuk.
On July 18, 2023, the Shklovsky District Court considered Oleg’s case under Part 2 of Art. 411 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus. Oleg was transferred to prison regime.
5 years of imprisonment in a penal colony of strict regime.
Vitalia was detained after returning from abroad and convicted of participation in the events that took place on August 10, 2020 in Brest.
4 years imprisonment in a general regime colony
Pro-government Telegram channels claim that the girl had been abroad for several years.
In the "repentance video" she was forced to talk about how difficult it was for her in other countries of the world where she traveled, so she "made the decision to return to the territory of the Republic of Belarus in order to continue to live, work, develop and start a family on our Belarusian land."
In a pro-government video , the man says he came from Poland and was detained at the border for being with protesters at a rally on Sovetskaya Street with his friend Vladislav Lapin. The authors of the post claim that Lapin is fighting in Ukraine on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Cheslav Gerasimovich is 37 years old. He is from Minsk.
For some time in 2022, Gerasimovich worked in Vilnius, but in the fall of 2022 he returned to Minsk.
On June 26, Cheslav was convicted of “disobeying a police officer” in an administrative case.
Judging by the GUBOPiK video, Gerasimovich is accused of donating to the “extremist formation” four times. He is probably accused under Article 361-2 of the Criminal Code.
Gerasimovich writes on social networks that he has been conducting training in psychotherapy for more than 15 years. Since 2011, he began working as a tester. He is interested in music and plays the guitar, and also writes poetry and short prose.
