Grodno human rights activist and journalist Vladimir Khilmanovich has not lived in Belarus for two and a half years. But on December 1, 2023, a search was conducted in the apartment of Vladimir Khilmanovich’s wife, where he lived from 2014 to 2021, and a criminal case was opened.

Evgeniy and Olga Prudnikovs were found guilty under Art. 342 of the Criminal Code. During one of the peaceful meetings, they allegedly went out onto the roadway, thereby obstructing the movement of traffic and causing damage to Minsktrans. They are outside Belarus and were not present at the trial. They were put on the wanted list on December 21, 2022. At the trial, their testimony, which they gave as witnesses in another case in August 2022, was read out. Then they talked about their participation in the Marches on August 16 and 30, 2020.

The evidence in the case was photographs from Facebook of Olga Prudnikova with Marsha, testimony of witnesses who allegedly confirmed “the fact of the existence of an initial agreement with the accused to jointly participate in unsanctioned mass events in the central part of Minsk.”

Chairman of the Gomel branch of the Human Rights Center "Viasna", a human rights activist with 20 years of experience in helping to restore the violated rights of citizens. An architect who took part in an action in memory of Roman Bondarenko on Change Square on November 15, 2020, was detained and severely beaten. As a result, Vadim was hospitalized with various injuries.
