The defendant in the case of July 14, 2020, when protesters defended themselves from riot police, was convicted on December 31, 2020. In November 2021, he was transferred to prison regime. The appeal was considered on March 26, 2021, and the verdict came into force.

4 years imprisonment under strict security conditions
He was convicted of resisting during the protest on September 20, 2020 in Minsk. According to the prosecution, he hit three riot police officers while lying down.
He was released in the winter of 2023 after serving the full sentence imposed by the court.
2.5 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony
He was convicted of blocking transport during a protest on August 10, 2020 in Minsk.
On January 24, 2024, he was released after fully serving the sentence imposed by the court.
3 years of imprisonment with transfer to an open correctional facility
A protest participant was convicted of removing the balaclava from a riot police officer.
In September 2021, the court decided to change Natalya’s regime to prison.
On February 18, 2022, she was released thanks to the efforts of the Swiss authorities.
2.5 years of imprisonment under strict security conditions
He was detained on October 4, 2020 after the “March for the Liberation of Political Prisoners” and convicted of participating in protests.
On September 18, 2023, he was released after fully serving the sentence imposed by the court.
3 years imprisonment with transfer to an open institution
Detained and convicted for the events that occurred on September 13, 2020 during the “March of Heroes” protest in Minsk. Ivan was accused of damaging a company car and assaulting riot police officers. He pleaded guilty only to damaging the vehicle.
Released in June 2023 after fully serving the sentence imposed by the court.
3 years imprisonment in a general regime colony
He was detained and convicted for participating in protests that took place in August 2020, as well as for publications in the “Drivers 97%” telegram channel.
In the summer of 2023, he was released after fully serving the sentence imposed by the court.
3 years of imprisonment with transfer to an open correctional facility
Ukrainian citizen Mikhail was detained on September 16, 2020 and spent seven months in the temporary detention facility on Okrestina. He was charged with participating in three marches and organizing protest activities through the Telegram channel "Brave People", including writing protest inscriptions and hanging white-red-white ribbons.
He was released on December 16, 2023, after serving his full sentence, but was immediately arrested again in Mogilev.
Released on February 1, 2024, Mikhail was forced to leave Belarus.
Trial outcome 20.09.2021: 3 years of imprisonment in colony under general regime conditions, approximately 2611 rubles of compensation.
Vadim, an architect, was detained and beaten during a memorial event for Roman Bondarenko on Change Square on November 15, 2020, and hospitalized with injuries. He pleaded not guilty, saying that participating in the event was his civic duty, and was convicted of “participating in group actions that grossly violate public order.”
Left Belarus before starting to serve his sentence.
On March 15, 2024, a “special case” was opened against Dmitry, and in the summer he was charged in absentia with “conspiracy to seize power,” “assisting extremist activity,” and “creating an extremist group.”

Vitaly worked in a private medical laboratory and was interested in airsoft, military history, science fiction, and motorcycles. He was detained at home on November 17, 2020, and convicted of "preparing for mass riots."
He was released in July 2024 after serving his full sentence as determined by the court.
Trial outcome 09.04.2021: 4 years of imprisonment in colony under enhanced security conditions.
Alexey, a construction engineer, was detained on September 23, 2020, after Lukashenko's inauguration, when he tried to hide from people in uniform. According to investigators, he failed to comply with a demand to stop and, while reversing, ran over police lieutenant Zavadsky, causing him injuries. Alexey was convicted of "resisting the police with the threat of violence."
"I'm ashamed of you," Alexey said to Judge Gennady Yankovsky as he said goodbye. "And you'll have to live with this," he said to Prosecutor Olga Dindilevich.
According to human rights activists, he will be released in early May 2024, having fully served his sentence as determined by the court.
Trial outcome 03.03.2021: 4 years of imprisonment in colony under general regime conditions, 10000 rubles of compensation.
Vladislav, a student at the Belarusian State Medical University, was detained on November 19, 2020 and convicted of administering the Telegram channel "White Coats".
He was released in April 2024 after serving his full sentence as determined by the court.
Trial outcome 15.11.2021: 4 years of imprisonment in colony under general regime conditions.
Anna, a volunteer for the Telegram channel “Drivers 97%,” was detained on October 28, 2020 and convicted of “calls for mass riots and road blockades in connection with dissatisfaction with the government and election fraud.”
She was released on November 25, 2022, having fully served her sentence as determined by the court.
