In the police video, the man states his position and says he was arrested for “participating in unauthorized marches” in 2020.

Most likely, he was detained at the end of January 2024, on 26.01.2024 a trial was held for an administrative violation under Part 2 of Article 19.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus - Distribution, production, storage, transportation of information products containing calls for extremist activity or promoting such activity. After which a criminal case was opened. The court verdict is most likely related to imprisonment.
On July 19, 2024, the appeal was heard and the verdict came into force.

In the video, Roman says that he participated in rallies in August 2020, and that in October 2020, together with his friends, he pasted "protest symbols" on lampposts in the area of Yakubovsky Street.
