Irina Yakovleva is known to have been an active Orthodox believer, involved in church art and donating to churches and monasteries in Belarus. She worked as an accountant.
On October 29, 2024, the KGB recognized the courtyard coalition "Orden", which includes the courtyard chats "Zlye Kogtiki", "Sukharevo", "Senica2.0", "Solidarity", "Volnyya Vauki", "Navagrudskiya Partisans", "VILIYA", "Skromnye Matryoshka", and "Sosedi", as an "extremist formation".
According to the agency, those involved in these initiatives include Irina Yakovleva, Natalia Doronina, Diana Gavrilova, Ukrainian citizen Ivan Omelyan, Olga Nekhaychik, Konstantin Kirilenko, Yelizaveta Plitnik, Natalia Guzhova, Irina Smolyarova, Stanislav Botvin, and Natalia Lantukh. A few days later, mass arrests in this case took place across Belarus.
In January 2022, Svetlana's future husband, Stanislav, was sentenced to three years under Articles 342 and 364 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus. Svetlana, who was deeply concerned about his fate, brought him parcels. On February 24, 2022, Svetlana Yakubovich married Stanislav, who was still in prison at the time. In December 2023, Stanislav was released, having fully served his sentence. A year later, the couple was arrested on a new criminal charge.

Criminal cases have been opened against them under the article "extremism". All those who were interrogated in the case are being asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
The media reports that at least six people among those detained by security forces 15 days ago have not been released after serving their administrative arrest, including Tatyana.

Daniil Polyansky is a Brest journalist. In early September, Polyansky went to Russia to visit relatives. On the way, there was an incident with Russian security forces. His car was stopped by FSB officers and he was accused of an administrative violation for disobedience - allegedly he refused to show documents.
"Danil said that at that time his passport was in the hands of a Russian security officer," says one of Polyansky's acquaintances. "Later, when he returned to Brest, he was detained by KGB officers."
Initially it was assumed that he was detained for some administrative violation. But it became known that a criminal case had been opened.
Danil Polyansky is 53 years old. As a videographer, he once collaborated with state and commercial TV channels, as well as with independent regional sites. In recent years, he was known in Brest as a volunteer for the search and rescue squad "Angel".
