Koval was detained on May 28, 2023 right at the border. He was returning from a competition in Slovakia, and upon entering Belarus, Koval’s phone was asked to be checked. The man himself provided the security forces with his phone and password. During the examination, he was found to have data that was “prohibited” according to the Belarusian security forces. Since that day, Koval has been in captivity.
At the criminal trial, Koval was accused of sending a video to the Nexta Editorial telegram bot on March 27, 2022. The video showed the movement of military equipment on the MKAD ring road (around Minsk). Thus, according to the state prosecution, Koval committed a crime, because the Belarusian authorities consider Nexta an “extremist formation.”

The fact is that his account was on his undisguised Belarusian number, and for some time even had a photo of Pavel himself as an “avatar”. During this time, he managed to leave more than 600 comments in various chats.

According to the prosecution materials, Danilchik “repeatedly posted in extremist chats on the Telegram messenger and in public chats on the YouTube video hosting service information of an offensive nature against Lukashenko, degrading his honor, personal dignity and authority. From February 2022 to July 2023, he posted on the Internet in messages and comments that are indecent in form and derogatory in intent towards government officials in connection with the performance of their official duties."

In a “repentance” video published in mid-March, Artem said that he was detained “for moderating the 97% Serebryanka chat.” But the channel was recognized as an “extremist formation” only on May 30, 2023.
He began to be tried in the Minsk City Court on August 29, 2023 under Part 1 of Art. 361-1 of the Criminal Code (Creation of an extremist formation).

Ruslan was tried for a comment in a telegram channel that allegedly encouraged participation in the Marches. Ruslan admitted guilt. He said that he actually posted the comment under the influence of emotions, as he read the comments of other users on the channel. He also noted that he once went to a protest rally.
It is known that Ruslan was detained on the border with Russia: the time and circumstances are unknown. Before his arrest, he worked as a mechanical technician.

According to the prosecution , Alexander was drunk when on the night of June 19, 2023, he allegedly first tore down a flag mounted on the wall of one of the stores. Afterwards, he removed another flag from a house in Minsk near a metro station, after which he handed it over to a metro employee. After that, he allegedly removed the flag from the facade of the building of the Belpochta RUE branch and left it at the entrance. At the end of the action, the man allegedly tore off another flag, which he threw at a public transport stop and set it on fire. That same night, Alexander allegedly set fire to a plastic waste container. Alexander Smirnov did not admit guilt during the trial. He said that he tore down the flags when he was drunk, because he wanted to leave a memory of his stay in Belarus and hang them at home. He had no intention of desecrating state symbols. He set fire to one of the flags by accident, and was completely absent from the scene of one of the incidents. Alexander noted that he gave preliminary testimony regarding this episode under physical and emotional pressure from police officers .
