Valery is a Belarusian poet. He is a member of the Belarusian Union of Journalists. His works have appeared in all well-known Belarusian magazines and newspapers. In 1998, his poems were published in a secondary school reader and four anthologies.
In 1994, he won a diploma at the First National Festival of Belarusian Bard Songs. Many of his poems have been set to music.
He was detained several times on politically motivated administrative charges. He was arrested in connection with a criminal case in the summer of 2025. He was placed on bail pending trial.
Valery has a bedridden, disabled mother who requires constant care.

His last job was at the Mogilevskie Vedomosti news agency. Shishkov may have been responsible for security there. ONT claimed Shishkov was fired from there in 2023 for his political views.
In March 2024, ONT aired a "New Belarus" passport issued in Shishkov's name. However, the document was clearly fake.

Ivan was sentenced in 2025 to a restricted sentence in an open correctional facility for "assisting extremist activity." He was likely convicted in connection with the criminal case against the Belarusian Gayun monitoring channel.
Yuri was arrested in May 2025 and convicted in November of that year of "assisting extremist activity." After the verdict was announced, he was released from custody pending the court's decision.

Viktor was detained in a criminal case opened under the article "assistance to extremist activity" after Belarusian security forces gained access to the chats of a bot belonging to the Belarusian Gayun monitoring project, where people were submitting information about Russian troop movements.
In July 2025, Viktor was found guilty and sentenced to restricted freedom and sent to an open correctional facility.
