A pro-government Telegram channel has published a video that uses fragments of video footage from a protest march in Glubokoe, which took place on August 16, 2020. It was the largest march in the regional center, when participants left the sidewalks for the roadway. In the video, three Glubokoe residents admit that they were actually participants in that march. The "video production" of the Telegram channel's authors also contains footage of the brutal detentions of several men. Aivar is also in this video.
Some of the detainees were taken to the Vitebsk pretrial detention center. They are charged under Article 342 of the Criminal Code (Participation in actions that grossly violate public order).
It is known that Viktor's brother is a political prisoner. Most likely, this is Mikhail Tarasevich, who received six years in prison for his comments and is serving his sentence in Colony No. 1 in Novopolotsk.
Viktor is accused of participating in protests and commenting in Telegram chats. The guy did not defend his Telegram account at all, from which he left many comments. He even published current stories there, and the page was linked to his own Belarusian number.
