Thus, according to the prosecution, Sergey committed a crime under Part 1 of Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (Promotion of extremist activity).

Yuri is accused of the fact that on January 25, 2022, from his mobile phone “in order to humiliate the honor and dignity of the head of state, guided by base motives” in one of the online communities, he wrote a comment about Lukashenko: “He organized terrorism and genocide in the country, and also "were engaged in occupation."

According to linguistic expertise, this comment “has a negative assessment of the activities of the head of state, which is not true.”

It is known that the man is 39 years old, he is from Ivanovo, a builder by training. Before his arrest, Yuri lived and worked in Russia for several years and visited Belarus on vacation.
