Accomplice in crimes against the rights and freedoms of citizens of Belarus. Anatoly Nikolaevich Strelchenko is an employee of the judicial authorities involved in politically motivated repressions, in which thousands of peaceful demonstrators, several hundred journalists, human rights defenders and activists were detained and subjected to violence. He handed down guilty verdicts in politically motivated cases, where he imposed penalties in the form of a fine totaling at least 405 rubles and administrative arrest for a total period of at least 31 days. Strelchenko found Ruslan Parfenov guilty of crimes under Part 1 of Article 13 and Part 2 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, and sentenced him to five years in prison in a high-security colony. Ruslan was accused of making metal “hedgehogs” to stop the traffic of law enforcement agencies. He pronounced a verdict in the case of Lyubov Arbuzova, who was accused of committing a crime under Article 391 of the Criminal Code “Insulting a judge or people’s assessor” for a comment on social networks. Strelchenko sentenced the woman to one and a half years of restriction of freedom without being sent to an open correctional facility. He also decided to confiscate the accused’s mobile phone as a means of committing a crime.
