Daniil Polyansky is a Brest journalist. In early September, Polyansky went to Russia to visit relatives. On the way, there was an incident with Russian security forces. "Danil said that at that time his passport was in the hands of a Russian security officer," says one of Polyansky's acquaintances. "Later, when he returned to Brest, he was detained by KGB officers."

Initially it was assumed that he was detained for some administrative violation. But it became known that a criminal case had been opened.

Danil Polyansky is 53 years old. As a videographer, he once collaborated with state and commercial TV channels, as well as with independent regional sites. In recent years, he was known in Brest as a volunteer for the search and rescue squad "Angel".

During the 2020 presidential election campaign, Yakushkov was tried twice for "participating in unauthorized events" - for participating in pickets to collect signatures for Svetlana Tikhanovskaya; both times the court sentenced the man to "days in prison."

Sergei was detained in February 2024. First, he was given a day for "dissemination of extremist materials", and then a criminal case was opened and he was transferred to a pretrial detention center. The case probably concerns the comments. Sergei faces four to twelve years in prison.
Sergey's hobby is music. In the 2000s, he played in the band "Lesnoye Radio". He participated in several other projects, translated foreign songs into Belarusian.

Sergey Yuryevich Gorlov studied at the Minsk State Linguistic University, and later graduated from the European Humanities University. He worked as a translator and English tutor. His last known place of work was the Sakharov Institute in Minsk.

Margarita has long been a member of the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus. Evgeniy is a former IT manager from Mogilev. After the 2006 elections and several years of political activism, he was expelled from the history department of Mogilev University. He graduated from the history department in Poznan and worked as a manager at an IT company, supplying dairy products. In 2013, Evgeniy returned to Belarus, immediately got married, and then went to work. While he had previously focused primarily on public and academic activities (in the student ethnographic society and the oral history archive), he has now gone into business.

And since the beginning of 2017, he has taken on a new occupation: at the request of clients, he has recorded interviews with their village grandparents and edited documentaries.

He is accused of aiding extremist activity.

Evgeniya has a wife and two small children waiting for her at home.

A former truck driver, returned from Europe. He was charged with over 1,000 extremist comments, including some from 1997.

Artem was convicted in the Minsk City Court under Part 3 of Article 361 of the Criminal Code and Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.

The hearing of Artem’s case under Part 3 of Article 361-1 of the Criminal Code and Article 369 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus is scheduled for January 31, 2025 .

Mikhail is originally from Borisov, but lived in Minsk. He studied at BSU to become a manager.
It is known that Mikhail played poker under the nickname Rattly. He was noted for participating in numerous championships. Among them is the championship of Belarus.

Mikhail's trial began on October 17 in the Minsk City Court. The charges against him probably arose because of his support for Ukraine. He is charged under Part 2 of Article 361-3 of the Criminal Code (Assistance or other material support for war). The penalty for this article is five to ten years in prison.
