On August 10, 2020, during the protests, Alexey was driving in his car in Minsk in the area «Belaya Vezha». At the intersection, the man saw members of the special purpose police squad, who, looking for protesters, began to brutally detain car drivers: shoot and break windows in cars. Alexey, not expecting his detention, drove forward, where traffic police officers were just passing. Not noticing the official car, Alexey moved into its row. At the time of the maneuver, the traffic police car had already stopped, and the man went on about his business. In this action, the court saw interference in the activities of an employee of the internal affairs body (Article 365 of the Criminal Code).

At the same time and in the same place, there was allegedly a traffic police officer Mosenza, who testified at the end of December 2022, allegedly Alexey wanted to shoot him down then. For this, the man was charged with Article 364 of the Criminal Code and taken into custody.

Alexey has three children, one of them is a minor daughter of 5 years old.

Deputy commander of the 310th artillery group for ideological work of the 120th separate guards mechanized brigade of the guard, lieutenant colonel. He is accused of “treason against the state by a person subject to military status” and “inciting other social discord.”

The circumstances of the case are unknown.

On July 5 and 17, 2024, the appeal was considered, and the verdict came into force.

Ruslan, a businessman, founder and former director of the Spanish visa center in Minsk, was detained by KGB officers in October 2021 at the airport when he was about to leave Belarus. The detention took place as part of a criminal case initiated for political reasons.

In March 2023, Ruslan was convicted of bribery and treason. The court sentenced him to a long prison term and a large fine.

In August 2024, the conditions of his detention were tightened - Ruslan was transferred to prison regime. Since then, he has been prohibited from receiving parcels, visits and other forms of support. He is allowed to use no more than one basic unit per month for personal needs.

Convicted for comments and reposts of videos in social networks, which allegedly were offensive and discrediting in relation to the representatives of the authorities of A.G. Lukashenko.

In early June 2022, he illegally collected information about the private life and personal data of an employee of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee, after which he published them in the Telegram chat «Novaya Borovaya 98%».

He was detained for comments on social networks. Maxim is waiting for his 10-year-old son at home.

A 34-year-old resident of Bobruisk. After 10 days in the Okrestina detention center, he was transferred to pretrial detention center No. 1.

The man was charged with donating to an organization recognized as terrorist in Belarus. He faces 8 to 12 years in prison.

Dmitry Sluk did not appeal the verdict and was transferred to one of the Belarusian colonies to serve his sentence.

On June 24, 2024, the conditions of detention were tightened, and Dmitry was transferred to prison regime.

Maxim is a Minsk resident. Has a higher education. The man is divorced. He once worked as a security guard, later as a builder. Then he opened an individual entrepreneur and erected monuments in the cemetery. I've been unemployed lately.

Friends recall that Maxim served his military service in one of the Minsk “special forces” units.

Maxim is accused of blowing up a police car near the Central District Department of Internal Affairs.

The incident happened on the night of January 7-8, 2022, not far from the building of the Central District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk. A criminal case has been opened for blowing up a car under Article 289 (repeated act of terrorism).

Investigators later added that on the night of January 13, he allegedly damaged the Tabakerka kiosk and a trash can in the same way.

On May 26, 2023, the appeal was considered and the verdict entered into force.

Sergey is originally from Kherson, Ukraine, but has lived in Belarus almost all his life. He has worked in various blue-collar jobs all his life. He has two minor children.

The man was detained in February 2023. In a pro-government video, he says that he left comments on Telegram and registered with the Plan Peramoga chatbot. He was first convicted in October 2023 for "inciting other social hatred" (Part 1 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code).

On 08.12.2023, the appeal was heard and the verdict came into force.

Sergei's next trial will begin on September 27, 2024, in the Minsk City Court. He is charged under four articles - "participation in an extremist group" (Part 3 of Article 361-1 of the Criminal Code), "incitement of other social hatred" (Part 1 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code), "insulting a government official" (Article 369 of the Criminal Code), and "insulting Lukashenko" (Part 1 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code). Sergei faces up to five years in prison in addition to his previous term.

Former employee of BelVEB bank. Vasily was detained in early July 2022. Pro-government telegram channels claimed that he was detained for allegedly leaking personal data of security forces, teachers and doctors. In the “repentance” video, Ermakov said that he participated in rallies in Minsk and passed information about Interior Ministry employees to the “Black Book of Belarus” bot, “using his official powers.”

Vasily was severely beaten, he even lost consciousness, his ribs were broken. They were transferred to pre-trial detention center-1 from the hospital.

Previously, he was detained under an administrative article for participating in protests. Pro-government telegram channels reported on Andrei's detention. On the “repentant video” , the guy says that he was detained for distributing personal data of police officers, judges and called people to violent actions.
It is also reported that the man "left more than 2 thousand extremist messages, of which at least 100 records contain signs of violations of the law."

Taxi driver. According to pro-government Telegram channels, he was detained for comments on social networks. In the "repentant video," the Belarusian says that he participated in protests in 2020, and from 2020 to mid-2023, he left more than 2,000 "offensive comments" in chats about Lukashenko, prosecutors, and police officers. Sergei's arm was broken during his arrest. He was kept in a punishment cell on Okrestina for 35 days with a broken arm. The head of the temporary detention facility expressed a biased attitude specifically towards him, through a "commentary" article.

An appeal against the verdict will be heard on August 2, 2024.

Nikolai, a systems engineer and former employee of RUE Beltelecom, was detained in August 2021 as part of a criminal case initiated under the article "act of terrorism". In June 2023, he was convicted under several criminal articles, sentencing him to a long prison term.

According to the indictment, from July 2020 to January 2022, "an organized criminal group operated in Belarus, Turkey, Poland, Ukraine and other countries with the goal of committing extremist crimes. The group included radical individuals, including former and current military personnel, law enforcement officers, athletes and businessmen, who sought to seize power illegally." The case involves charges of attempted arson of the home of MP Oleg Gaidukevich in June 2021 and "organizing mass riots."

Pyotr was arrested in January 2022 on politically motivated terrorism charges and convicted on several criminal charges. He was sentenced to a lengthy prison sentence, the first five years of which will be in a penal colony.
