On July 11, 2023, political prisoner Ales Pushkin died in a hospital in Grodno. He was taken there from the territory of Prison No. 1 in Grodno. Dmitry was added to his prison term by another 1 year and 15 days . That is, the political prisoner’s term should have ended on August 18, and he should have been released, but this did not happen due to re-arrest and trial on a new criminal case.

Ilya was convicted for a personal message sent to Vladimir Kozlovsky, a senior police inspector at the Ministry of Internal Affairs department of the Leninsky District Administration of Grodno. According to the prosecution, in his message, he threatened to use violence against the police officer "with the aim of obstructing his lawful activities, forcing him to change the nature of these activities, and out of revenge for the performance of his official duties."
He was released in the winter of 2025, having served his sentence in full.

Ruslan was accused of “feeling hatred towards the current government” and writing numerous offensive messages to police officers and their relatives.

On December 13, 2025, he was released following a visit to Minsk by US President Donald Trump's special representative, John Cole, and taken to Ukraine.
According to the prosecution, demonstrating an insulting and disdainful attitude towards the State Flag of Belarus, he climbed onto the roof of the building and broke the flag from the flagpole, damaging the pole.
Then, together with Nikita Murin, they took pictures with the flag and filmed an obscene video with the flag. At the same time, they repeatedly threw the cloth onto the ground and bushes.

He was taken into custody in connection with charges under Part 3 of Article 371 of the Criminal Code for organizing illegal border crossings by citizens fleeing arbitrary politically motivated persecution by the authorities of Belarus, which could lead to grave consequences for them - torture, cruel, inhuman, degrading treatment and illegal deprivation of liberty. Despite the fact that he was tried for committing an act by a group of people, only Evgeniy was in the dock. According to the charges, he brought people to the border zone of Lithuania.
