Acts as a public prosecutor in politically motivated cases. Acted as a public prosecutor in the case of drummer Alexey Sanchuk, who was charged under Part 2 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code — Participation in mass riots and Article 342 of the Criminal Code — Organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them. Alexey sometimes played at marches. When he was arrested, he was severely beaten. Seryakov requested 6 years of imprisonment for him.
