Involved in the issuance of politically motivated court decisions, at least 18 politically motivated decisions, for which at least 18 days of administrative arrest, at least 1,200 rubles in fines, and at least 9 years of imprisonment or restriction of freedom were imposed.

On February 18, after the verdict was announced, people chanted “Long Live Belarus!” in the corridor. The judge immediately forbade the policeman on duty to let those present out of the court, and she called the police. About 20 people were blocked in the building. Some escaped through the window. The nine remaining were taken to the local police department.
She was sentenced to one year of restriction of freedom without referral to open institutions (household chemicals). Dmitry Grinevich, who was accused of desecration of the state flag (Article 370 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus). The action was initially regarded as nighttime hooliganism in a public place - on the roof of the gymnasium, which led, as the court stated in the decision on an administrative offense, to the disruption of the educational process (an excerpt can be seen in the photo). For this, judge Lyudmila Mikhnevich imposed a fine of 81 rubles on the perpetrator. Therefore, Dmitry Grinevich referred in the criminal trial to the fact that he had already been punished for his act. The judge rejected this argument on the grounds that at that time his action led to disruption of the educational process, but here the case was obviously about desecration of the flag. On this basis, she does not consider the sentence to be a repeat punishment.

Ivan, who holds two university degrees, previously worked as an artist and designer, then became an animator, director, and video editor. He is also an artist and short story writer. On October 21, 2020, he was arrested and convicted of posting calls for destabilizing public order on a Telegram channel, including arson attacks on the KGB and Oshmyany District Prosecutor's Office buildings.
In December 2022, he was retried for "disobeying the administration's demands." In May 2024, Ivan was again convicted of "malicious disobedience" and sentenced to an additional two years in prison.
As of May 2026, according to the testimony of his fellow detachments, Ivan had served in the PKT and SHIZO for a total of 1065 days , which is approximately 35.5 months or 2 years and 9 months, respectively.

Dmitry was found guilty in a criminal case brought under the article "Desecration of state symbols" for, according to the charges, removing the state flag hanging on the roof of Gymnasium No. 4 in Smorgon one night in the fall of 2020, carefully folding it, putting it in his pocket, and replacing it with a "white-red-white flag."
It's worth noting that the "desecration" of the national flag, according to investigators, consisted of a small tear in the fabric, approximately one and a half centimeters in size. This led investigators to conclude that the flag had been torn down, and they considered this a mockery of the national symbol.
